Vietnam is regarded as the historic home of the world's finest agarwood. Resin forms slowly inside the Aquilaria tree, producing a warm, sweet and deeply calming aroma that has been treasured for centuries in temples, tea rooms and family altars.
Khanh Hoa province, home of Nha Trang, has been the centre of Vietnamese agarwood for generations. Our workshop sits in the Soi Tram Huong craft village of Phu Hoi 1, Van Thang commune, where artisans still sort and shape each piece by hand.
Every batch is selected, cleaned, dried and finished by craftspeople we know by name. Nothing is perfumed with synthetic oils. What you smell is the resin itself.
Vietnamese families burn agarwood to mark the new moon, receive guests, or simply settle the mind before work. Light one stick or cone in a well-ventilated room; bracelets are worn daily and gently warm with body heat.
